Kingsthorpe Churches Together

Kingsthorpe Baptist Church has been good friends with the other churches in the “village” of Kingsthorpe for many years. These are the Church of England old village church on the Green nearby – confusingly called St John the Baptist (this is now in a team with St Marks and St David’s), http://kingsthorpechurches.co.uk St Aidan’s Roman Catholic Church, http://www.staidansnorthampton.org.uk in Manor Road and Kingsthorpe Methodist Church (who are currently worshiping with us as they await decisions about their future) https://kingsthorpemethodist.org.uk. These 6 churches together form KCT – Kingsthorpe Churches Together.

Regular joint KCT activities normally include

Lent Prayer Breakfasts
A monthly prayer lunch – held alternatively at St David’s Community Café and St Aidan’s Parish room.
A Stations of the Cross service during Lent at St Aidan’s
A walk of witness on Good Friday
The annual service for the World Day of Prayer in March – Friday 1st March 7 p.m. at Kingsthorpe Baptist
A summer celebration service, usually held outdoors near the Pastures Community Centre

Carol Singing outside Waitrose supermarket – taking place in 2023 – Saturday 16th December 11.30 a.m.
